The Align series reflects Engel Architects' commitment to purposeful design, blending utility and quiet elegance into a range of architectural hardware that integrates seamlessly into any exterior and interior.
The vision was to create a sculptural form that is a design system in its own right: one shape that adapts to every function while keeping a strong and recognisable identity.
Cast in solid brass and offered in a range of finishes, the Align series is defined by a slim, considered silhouette. It never steals attention or calls out as design, yet carries an unmistakable presence on any door, window and cabinetry.
The Align series for IZÉ is built on a simple principle: every element is created from the same tapered form. This form becomes the iconic look of the series and the common thread running through each piece. Adapted across functions, the geometry remains consistent, giving the range a strong coherence from the front door to the smallest window and even coat hook.
The forms are contemporary and utilitarian, drawn to use as little material as possible without compromising strength or proportion. The result is hardware that feels natural in the hand and sits quietly within its architectural context, whether in a private home, a cultural institution or a hospitality setting. Simple, elegant and understated, yet with a clear and lasting character.
The initial series launches with a door handle, a tilted door handle, a window handle and a thumb turn, covering the core of everyday use. In 2027 the series expands with cabinet pulls and handles, offset pull handles, an accessibility handle, coat hooks and larger format handles, allowing a single design language to carry through an entire building.
Produced by IZÉ, the Align series exemplifies Engel Architects' belief in precision, utility and an understated architectural character. Each piece serves a practical purpose while forming part of a larger, cohesive whole. To discover more about the Align series, visit IZÉ's official website.
